Discover the art of stained glass as you design and create a one-of-a-kind piece that catches the light beautifully. In this guided hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of working with glass and making something truly luminous! The workshop consists of: -A demo on scoring/breaking glass ⁃ An explanation of grinding glass ⁃ Students will learn copper foiling basics. Then, each participant will apply copper foil to their precut and pre-ground glass pieces (of the project they chose at sign up) ⁃ Participants will learn soldering basics, then they will solder their project ⁃ Participants will learn framing basics, then they will apply lead came to their project. ⁃ Participants will apply a jump ring to hang their project from. ⁃ Polish and wax will be applied to the suncatcher. ⁃ Admire your project! What’s included: -Pre cut, pre-ground glass pieces from the project of your choosing. All supplies and materials are provided.

She started learning stained glass two years ago and it was love from the get go. She enjoys the challenge of cutting and fitting and putting all the glass pieces together to make beautiful art. |
