Intro to Stained Glass - August 16th 12PM

Intro to Stained Glass Workshop Dabble in a new skill and make a beautiful handmade stained glass suncatcher! This workshop will cover: -A Demo on scoring/breaking glass -Explanation of grinding glass -Learning copper foiling basics and then you will apply copper foil to your precut and pre-ground glass pieces (of the project they chose at sign up) -Learning soldering basics, then you will solder your own project. -Learning framing basics and framing your project in lead came. -Apply jump ring to hang your project from. -Polish and wax. -Admire your project! What’s included: -Pre cut, pre-ground glass pieces from the project of your choosing. -All tools and materials needed to bring your project to life are provided.

McKay lives in Castle Rock with her husband, 4 kids and English Bulldog. She enjoys hiking, watching the DC Huskies and the Broncos play football, and hanging out at home with her family. She started learning stained glass three years ago and it was love from the get go. She enjoys the challenge of cutting and fitting and putting all the glass pieces together to make beautiful art.
