Gather your friends for a fun-filled evening where creativity and friendship collide! Under the guidance of local metalsmith Alison Kelley, this intimate two-hour class will immerse you in the timeless craft of creating stacking rings.
you will create 2 to 3 stacking rings to take home. You'll be introduced to essential tools and equipment, learning to size, form, saw, solder, shape, hammer (texturize), and polish sterling silver. Tools you’ll use include a caliper, jeweler's saw, files, various hammers, and a butane torch, among others.
From shaping and soldering to filing, texturizing, and polishing, you'll acquire foundational techniques to design unique rings that you can cherish. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone seeking a meaningful night out, inviting you to unleash your creativity while connecting with others in a warm and inspiring environment.
